Our Team
At Vestra Mind Clinic, our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, professional, and patient-centered mental health care. Each member of our clinic plays an important role in supporting our patients’ wellbeing, working together to create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
Meet our psychiatrist

Dr. The The Aung
Dr. The The Aung is an Australin trained psychiatrist and obtained her fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) in 2023. Before joining the RANZCP fellowship training program, Dr. The The earned a broad experience overseas working as a psychiatry doctor at an accredited teaching hospital, the Institute of Mental Health Hospital, Singapore. She enjoys providing health care to culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
Dr. The The offers full psychiatric evaluation and ongoing management in adult psychiatry and has special interests in mood disorders, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, psychotic disorders, adult ADHD, and neurostimulation therapies, particularly transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy (TMS) for depression. She has experience treating hormone related mood disorders, and her passion is to support women struggling with severe premenstrual symptoms, particularly with ADHD.
The unwavering companionship of her beloved cat Amigo and dog Jasper has provided her with comfort and motivation during challenging times, reminding her to take breaks, find joy in the little things, and stay grounded. Jasper is even in training to become a therapy dog and will soon be ready to meet you.
These attributes of empathy, balance, and a positive outlook are what she brings to her consultations, fostering a supportive environment where patients feel understood and empowered on their own paths to well-being.
Meet our psychologist

Dr. Jacinta Thomson
Dr Jacinta Thomson is a clinical psychologist and a proudly neurosparkly human herself, specialising in supporting adults exploring Attention-Deficit-Hyperactivity-Disorder (ADHD), Autism, and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). She understands how vulnerable and life-changing it can feel to begin this journey, and she offers a compassionate, affirming space where people can safely untangle the questions they’ve often carried for years.
Isn’t life complicated enough without the extra burden of relaying important mental health updates between your treating specialists? Jacinta and Dr Aung take pride in collaborating with each other in a sensitive and reliable way, so everyone involved in your care remains on the same page. Working alongside Vestra Mind Clinic, Jacinta provides comprehensive diagnostic assessments and reports, valuing authenticity, transparency, and strong client-centred communication throughout the process.
If you’re ready to explore whether ADHD and/or Autism may be part of your story, you can learn more at Time to Untangle or contact Jacinta’s admin team to book in for a comprehensive, neuroaffirming evaluation in the comfort of your own home (that is – via telehealth).
